A cleaner finish that keeps its colour
Monocouche render is a cement-based external finish made from white Portland cement, graded aggregates, integrated colour pigments and performance-enhancing additives, such as silicone or mica, depending on the formulation. The white cement allows a wide range of consistent colours, while the finished render provides a smart appearance without regular painting.

How we apply the system properly
Good results start with sound blockwork, because dry and stable masonry gives the render the best chance to bond well. We control suction where needed with the right basecoat or primer, especially on brickwork, aerated blocks and other tricky backgrounds. Our first pass goes on at around 8 mm, then we build the second pass while the first is still curing to reach roughly 15 mm overall.
Once the material has cured for the right length of time, we scrape it back with specialist tools to create the final texture.
